Youth who spend a lot of time on screens may find that tasks without rapid rewards feel flat or boring.  Constant stimulation trains minds to seek regular stimulation which brings people out of the zone of focus. Overtime, young minds have neural wiring shaped by overstimulation. Learning becomes instantly boring for youth, unless there is a rapid reward. With re-training, youth learn to reclaim back their focus for better mental endurance. As Educators, you can support youth to build the skills to harness back focus for learning.
